week 4: Sushi anyone?

Tried the New Hibachi Grill here in Raleigh,

We had one already, but this one was new so lets try it! We all know how that is right? Ha ha ha nah, lol it looks great as you can see ";0}... The food looked good too, yet a lil diff from the other place. Had me wondering if it was the same owners.

I think not, the Sushi looked amazing but no "Wasabi Sauce" Ugh that was enough to have me in a funk LMBO.

I hated the atmosphere in this place it read like, eat your lunch and flee. It was very warm and the waitress said so but the AC wasn't working.

So we ate fast and I won't be returning just tells you that "LOOKS" are very deceiving.

week 3- Health First!

This week I had the opportunity to try a full body deep tissue massage "SMILE"
If you have never had one, I urge you to get one ladies and gents alike.

This was my very first time ever doing this! I'd been dying to go to Massage Envy for quite sometime but on this particular day they told a group of friends and I that they didn't have any walk ins today. Disappointed we thought we'd try the 10 minute in the chair massages at the mall. The place here is called HEALTH FIRST Raleigh Massage Center

But when we got there we found out they had full body massages upstairs and we jumped at the opportunity to give it a try. 

 

So off we went to get 4 full body massages "My daughter Sintaja, my Sista Pump'kin, my Niece Shaniqua & I"  Pump'kin and I got the same room and Sintaja & Shaniqua got the same room as they had double massage tables. We were told to undress and lie down on the massage tables. 

Lol we acted like a bunch of giggling school girls stripping down to our undies before the Masseuse could leave the room and get the time clocks and oils. Giggling and laughing calling from one room to the other to check on each other.I thought it would go very fast but I must say they massaged the whole body, your face & scalp uhm, mmmmmmmmm and it took forever to be over lol.When we left we were giggling laughing leaping and swearing we'd be back again soon, lol.I would definitely do it again & we also tried to out tip each other LMBO, so much fun.

So on that note Massage Envy eat your ♥ out I won't ever be using you, you blew it.

Next time I want to treat myself, a family member or friend you can guess where I'll be.

week 1- Tennis anyone?

I'm a very down to the minute person so I had no idea what I wanted to shoot and post until today.

I took my granddaughter "Ms. Monnie" Out to the park to play a game of tennis, 

she's never played before and she's only five. LOL

She had been loosing from the very beginning but a great sport none the less as her uncle Dream'z had her running all over the court.

When all of a sudden she drops down to her knees clasps her hands together and started to pray, I don't know about any of you but this is the very very first time I'd ever seen that done by anyone before. It was hilarious!

Try Something New coming soon!

Hey everyone!
I am Carson Douglas, doer of new things and man of action (HA!) here to welcome you to our 52 week challenge. Along with Dana Littlejohn and Tonya Blowe we welcome you to follow us as we take the journey into the unknown.

We all know how easy it is to become complacent in the things we do. We get comfortable. We know what to expect and we like it that's why we keep doing it. There's nothing wrong with sticking to what you know. That’s not a bad thing, but it does leave the door open for us to fall into a rut. When that happens stagnation is not far behind.

Dana, Tonya and I have decided that we‘re going to actively fight that situation. We have come together to say in one voice, “Back up off me rut! I’m walking in the light of finding new and exciting things to do!”

A little about us:

Carson Douglas lives in Atlanta, Ga. He works at a magazine and his dog, Rico is his best non-human friend.  He also loves trying new stuff and considers himself a bit of a daredevil.

Dana Littlejohn lives in Indianapolis, In. She is an author of sensual romance, living in an empty nest with her husband. She also enjoys exotic foods, Salsa dancing and Disney movies.

Tonya Blowe lives in Raleigh, NC. She is a lifestyle photographer who specializes in everything from baby bumps photos to boudoir and will take all family growing shot in between. You choose the the memory and she'll create the moment and lock it in time.

As you can see, we come from 3 different backgrounds and live in 3 different cities so our experiences have the potential to be all over the place with newness!! Come back and see what new stuff we get ourselves into. Maybe you’ll find something new for you to try.
